A Draft Carries No Authority
Generated content is a proposal. It is not approved, not released, and not exportable. Nothing generated reaches a destination without a human approval and a separate release decision.
Citations
Factual statements carry a reference to the evidence behind them, and that reference is kept so a reviewer, or an auditor months later, can follow it back to the passage in the document.
Regeneration
Regenerating produces a new version rather than overwriting the previous one. Earlier versions remain in the product's history along with any decisions recorded against them, so it stays possible to see what was approved and when.
